First Look at Second Floor

The heat has been brutal this week, but the crew has been able to make some great progress and today we were taken to the second floor of 8 Sandpiper! The framing of the upstairs den and master bath has been completed, and we were able to see the living/dining room at the back of the house.

Since there are no steps in the house yet, our only two options were to climb a tall ladder or ride the boom of the tractor up to the second floor, so we chose the latter! While it was a bit scary, we made it to the top to see the view and the room layout, it was worth it! The photos from our ride are attached below.
