To get to the Lewes bayfront beach all you have to do is walk out of the cul-de-sac where 8 Sandpiper is located and up to the bay.  To see how close the house is to the beach, view our Google Map. This is all within the neighborhood and should take about 5-10 minutes.  There are no major roads to cross, however you will need to watch for cars within the neighborhood.  If you want to go to the ocean, we suggest Cape Henlopen State Park which is right next to Cape Shores which is about a 5 minute drive.  Note, there is an entry fee to get into Cape Henlopen, unless you ride your bike or walk into the park!
