Hotel vs. Vacation Rental

Renting a vacation home such as 8 Sandpiper for your family or group affords you the privacy, space and amenities not typically available at a hotel.  Multiple bedrooms under one roof, open living and dining space situated around a fully-stocked kitchen and proximity to the beach are just a few reasons we have booked vacation homes for our family year after year.  When you add all of that to 8 Sandpiper’s community features such as walking/bike access to Cape Henlopen State Park, a community pool, fishing pier and tennis courts, it is easy to see why we fell in love with the Cape Shores development in Lewes.

It seems that most family vacationers also echo these points, and to elaborate even more on the benefits of renting a vacation home versus a hotel we thought we would share the infographic below.  The statistics confirm most of the reasons we continue to rent family beach houses including the cost savings, privacy and the fact that everyone can be together for meals.  Homes in Cape Shores almost always have ample driveway and under-house storage which allows more room to bring bikes, kayaks and beach gear.  Having space to store and quickly grab all of the items we use throughout our vacation is helpful when a group wants to go on a bike ride or walk to the beach.  Plus, we always bring multiple cars anywhere we stay so having room for three to five cars in the driveway is great to be able to accommodate all of our guests.
