Pacific Blue! After driving around and comparing all of the opinions from the family, we have decided to go with Pacific Blue as the color of the exterior siding for 8 Sandpiper. Certainteed has many great color options but we chose a dark blue to contrast the white trim and molding of the house. The style that we chose was the 7″ staggered edge, which will be on the side and back of the house, with a rough-split 9″ staggered shake on the front of the house. The front of the house will also have a metal roof on the porch in the color “copper penny” to contrast with the dark blue of the house.
With the second floor framed out and completed this week, the crew will start work on the decks today and start to cover the exterior of the house with plywood next week.
