This week the roof trusses started going up at 8 Sandpiper and the front and back decks are also taking shape. Once the roof trusses are in place, plywood will be nailed on top and the roof shingles can start to be placed. For the shingles we have selected GAF Timberline Lifetime HD Shingles in the color Oyster Gray to compliment the dark blue color of the siding.
You can see from the photos below that the front of the house will have a porch that runs across the width of the house, and it will have a shiny aluminum roof for its overhang. The back porches will have decks that run the full width of the house with a screened-in porch on the top deck that leads out from the family room.
