The exterior doors are in, all windows have been installed and the plumbing is underway at 8 Sandpiper. We stopped down to meet with the plumber and electrician today to map out recessed lighting, cable hookups and check on the overall progress.
The concrete pads under the house have also been poured. The concrete will support the second entrance to the house from under the pilings and also hold the area in the rear of the house for the outdoor shower. (Having an outdoor shower is a must-have for our house!)
The exterior doors have been installed including all of the sliding glass doors (sliders) that lead from the great room out to the deck and screened-in porch on the second floor of the house. There is also a slider that opens on to the back porch from one of the rear bedrooms.
According to our project foreman, the siding will be delivered next week so pretty soon we will be seeing the first glimpses of the Certainteed Pacific Blue color on 8 Sandpiper! We can’t wait!
