The kitchen cabinets are getting ready to be ordered, and we have made our final granite selections for 8 Sandpiper’s kitchen as well.  The kitchen cabinets will be white with a light glaze on the details of the front doors.  We are very excited about the open-concept kitchen layout and the peninsula that will open up into the main living room.  It will feature a bar sink that will come in handy for fixing drinks, cutting veggies or other tasks when the main sink is full.  A 3-D rendering of the kitchen from above can be seen below.

After many stops to Ancient Art Stone in Milford, we have finally selected “Brown Fantasy” as the granite for our kitchen.  While the photo does not really provide an accurate representation of the colors and grain of the granite, you can still see the beautiful lines and movement embedded in the stone.
