Grab your beach chair and head over to Lewes Canalfront Park this Wednesday, August 14 for an outdoor screening of the Odd Life of Timothy Green starring Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton and CJ Adams. This will be the last movie as part of the “Cinema by the Canal at Dusk” series hosted by the park. All movie screenings are free thanks to Citizens Bank and the Rehoboth Beach Film Society. The movie will start at dusk, so get there early to get a good seat and bring your own basket of movie snacks for sharing!
The Lewes Canalfront Park has a variety of activities for all ages throughout the year including yoga, concerts, fishing for kids and Zumba. The park is a great place to walk your dog or rest on a bench while you enjoy some ice cream from King’s. It is also adjacent to the Lightship Overfalls and provides a public place for boats to dock when in Lewes harbor. The park recently underwent extensive renovations in 2009, and has a history dating back to the dutch settlers of Lewes.
